Why are people stealing Neons and Sebrings?

Ubiquity and blendability?

Their parts are easy to sell. The more common the car, the more likely it will be stolen and chopped up for parts.

Would you look for bank robbers driving a Neon?

No, I'd look for them on the side of the road, cursing Chrysler reliability.

There is really nothing wrong with neons. They are very popular in grassroots motorsports circles and entry level racing.

Right! It's a perfect cover! The cops aren't going to stop to help - there's bank robbers to catch!
